Dr. Stephen W. Barron

Dr. Stephen W. Barron provides a range of criminal, forensic, clinical and consulting psychological services to organisations, medico-legal counsel and individuals who may be in contact with the courts.

With 27 years in the criminal justice system, Dr Barron possesses a unique range of skills, knowledge and insight into many issues relating to criminal and forensic psychology. An experienced provider of witness and expert testimony in many jurisdictions, Dr Barron has provided various courts in New South Wales with psychological expertise and reports relating to a broad range of criminal matters, for both the prosecution and defence.

Since 1998, Dr Barron has seen many police officers and emergency service personnel, their spouses and children who present with family, personal, adjustment and workers compensation issues. His extensive research into police officer suicide, as well as his personal experience ensures immediate, relevant and supportive psychological services to members of the policing and emergency service family.

Dr Barron is now relocated to Melbourne (Australia), however, forensic and psychological services may be offered in other states and internationally depending on the nature of the service requested.
